How I closed a $7200 client

All while travelling through South America

Yes team,

Currently sat in MXC.

Mexico City Airport on a layover heading to Colombia.

Took an overnight flight so stocked up on zzz’s.

Whenever I have a layover, I always attack it as a glorious work session.

Headphones in, find a quiet corner in a premium lounge (they’re honestly great value for money).

My issue?

Poor WiFi.

First world problem, I’m aware.

But genuinely, all you need is stable internet and voila.

You can start to print internet money.

Closed a $6K funnel build from a hotel room in Fiji.

$1,500/Mo retainer at 2 am at a beach party in Thailand.

Upsold a client by $600/Mo just before I boarded my flight in Panama.

Closed a $7,200 consulting deal from a Coffee shop overlooking a Volcano in Guatemala.

What I’m saying is that money is there to be taken.

As long as you have internet.

My lounge access cost me $35.

But not having a stable internet for the time I’m waiting will cost me a lot.

If you’re someone who squirms at the price of stuff, ask yourself…

“What is the true cost of not doing xyz?”

Money.

You’ll make it back.

Time?

That’s an asset none of us will get back.

Ever.

If you want the exact process I used to sign a $7,200 client while overlooking a Volcano in Guatemala.

Until next time.

Joe
