I've had one of those before but one in particular is stuck in my memory.

See, I forgot my friend's (let's call her Sarah) birthday.

It was a crazy busy day with work and deadlines.

But I finally got back home and decided to relax.

Then, I saw a notification: “Happy Birthday, Sarah!”

My heart dropped.

How could I forget her birthday?

She’s one of my closest friends!

I quickly called her to apologize.

She laughed it off, but I could tell she was a bit hurt.
