The day I ran out of petrol

I was in the middle of nowhere...

Have you ever run out of petrol in the middle of nowhere?

I know someone who has… 

It was a nightmare.

There I was, stranded on a deserted road with no petrol station in sight. 

I had ignored the warning signs, thinking I could make it just a bit further. 

Spoiler: I couldn’t.

Thank God for good friends who drove for hours to bring me a gallon of petrol.

Running an agency business can feel the same. 

We often ignore the warning signs… 

Pushing through with the same strategies even when they’re not working.

Outreach is a prime example. 

Sending the same generic emails over and over, hoping for a different result, is like driving on fumes. 

You need to refuel your strategy with fresh, targeted messaging to reach your destination.

Otherwise, you risk getting stranded in the middle of nowhere like I once was.

Don’t let that be you. 

Refuel your outreach strategy… find where you’re lacking and keep improving it until you see results.
